The Statesville Greyhound football team is ranked the #15 team in the latest Charlotte Observer Sweet 16 prep football poll. The Greyhounds are off to a 2-0 start and have been led by quarterback Travis Ramseur.

Statesville Greyhound Soccer Remains Undefeated

The Statesville Soccer team defeated St Stephens 3-1 in recent soccer action to run their early season record to 4-0. Statesville will be in action again on Wednesday when they play host to Lake Norman Charter.

Volleyball Swept By North Iredell

Statesville Greyhound volleyball was swept at home by conference foe North Iredell. Scores were 25-20, 25-17 & 25-20. Madison Dagenhart had 10 assists and 12 digs to lead Statesville. The Statesville Greyhound football team improved to 2-0 on the young season by defeating the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers 34-21 in prep football action last night in Statesville. Lady Greyhound Volleyball Squad Defeats Mooresville

Statesville Lady Greyhound volleyballers defeated Mooresville in 4 sets to open conference play. Statesville dropped the opening set 24-26 but came back to win 3 straight by the scores of 25-18, 25-12 & 25-14. While a total team victory, Madison Dagenhart led Statesville with 17 digs, 15 assists and 14 kills.

Women”s Varsity & JV Volleyball Sweep Watauga

The Statesville Greyhound ¬†women’s Varsity and JV volleyball teams defeated visiting Watauga HS in action the other night. The varsity team won 3 sets to 1 while the JV team prevailed by a 2 sets to 1 margin.

The Statesville Greyhound Soccer team is currently ranked #5 in the latest NC Soccer Coaches Association 3A State Poll. The Greyhounds are coming off an impressive 2-0 home shutout of the then #10 ranked team in the 3A division, Forestview HS from Gastonia.
